Getting started with holiday rentals

This seminar is suitable for property owners that are either new to or are considering starting a holiday rentals business. You can learn more about:

• The advantages of holiday rentals

• What makes a successful holiday rental?

• Examples of how other holiday rentals owners have achieved maximum performance

Seminar number 2:

Marketing your holiday rental successfully online

This seminar will cover:

• What holidaymakers are looking for online?

• How to get optimum performance out of our sites

• Additional management tools we offer, such as online bookings and payments

Please note: This seminar is more focused on our sites than the first seminar. If you do not choose to list with us, you should be able to apply these principles to other online channels. However if you do not feel this talk is relevant to you, you are welcome to take a break instead.

Networking reception:

The seminar will be followed by a drinks reception, where you will get the opportunity to network with other second homeowners and experienced holiday rental owners, as well as put your questions to the HomeAway.co.uk and Owners Direct teams.

This is also a great opportunity for us to meet you in person and learn from your ideas and opinions.

All drinks (including non-alcoholic options) and refreshments will be provided.

About our special guest speaker Antonio Bortolotti

Antonio Bortolotti is the founder of consultancy Vacation Rentals Secrets. He will be sharing the story of how he managed to create a successful holiday rental business from scratch, as well advising holiday rental owners how to maximise the performance of their rentals.

Antonio is the author of the acclaimed Italian books: Dentro di Noi. Parlano I lettori di Tiziano Terzani (Inside us: Tiziano Terzani’s readers speak out) (TEA, 2006), A different point of view – tales of a journey in search for the self (Lulu, 2006), and the first Italian best-selling book on the iPhone, iPhone:istruzioni per l’uso (Lulu, 2008), as well as founder of HolidayHomesRoundTheWorld.com, an innovative blog featuring delightful holiday rental homes worldwide.
